Mohamad Moe Sabbah, born in 1990, is a Lebanese filmmaker/artist based in Cologne, Germany. In his work, he observes the world from a queer perspective and questions family structures, love, death, grief, and body representation. He received his MA in filmmaking with distinction in 2014 from ALBA-UOB (Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts), where he taught for a few years. In 2015, he participated in the international class at Film Academy Baden-Württemberg (Robert Bosch Stiftung). Since winter 2021, Moe has been pursuing media-art studies at the Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln (DAAD Alumni).
